i would give anything to watch you do a reaction to XaaaCi. from ar tonelico 3. it's such a deeply terrifying, tragic song about the planet itself crying out in sadness and rage that its children are killing it and each other, so it resolves to kill all of humanity to put an end to the destruction they've caused. i don't know if it would fit the specific type of music you usually listen to here on your channel, but i wanted to bring it up because of how power a song it is, it drives me to tears every time i listen to it

I really enjoyed this, I definitely found it interesting that Katrina found Death by Glamour to be 'repetitive', since it has 3-4 very distinct sections with multiple very distinct melodies in only about 90 seconds, but I suppose it is more of the soundscape that she doesn't enjoy. It's also imo a credit to Toby Fox that she said 'she isn't into EDM' rather than she isn't into 8 bit or old school video game music sound, meaning even though it was emulating that style, the sound quality still elicited that kind of 'EDM' sound.

NGL it's really hard to hear what she says over the music. I cant understand a word shes saying.

I really prefer the original Terra's theme to it's modern interpretations. I think they loose the fragileness, the softness, the sensibility of the original, they are two flamboyant, and not very subtle.

i love cleric beast because it has actual meaning, its gospel of the healing church and the beast was a cleric before it transformed healing church members turned into the most monstrous beasts like the cleric beast, so hearing this gospel about how the holy blood cures diseases and that beasts are a result of blasphemy and sin while fighting it, when it actually is a result of the blood itself, makes it even more powerful similar with laurence, he was a founding member and the first to turn into a cleric beast, the song is a warning that the blood is no good and that they should be careful, even thought they rely on its healing properties

Love how often you've had Chris Christodoulou in your line ups! He really deserves the recognition and I personally feel beyond just his ror2 track, his original RoR tracks are fantastic and his OST to Deadbolt is probably my second favorite album of all time, the remake of RoR has both the original and new tracks, remade some with vocals, and all with everything he's learned musically since the original RoR. I've also heard that apparently when he get hired on for work, he just disappears for like a few months, and just reappears at some point in development of a game with the full OST finished.

This is really strange. Watched this over the last 2 days and it hasnt once showed up in my RUclips history. It was annoying to try to find it at first. Even now when i finished it, the last video that shows is the one i saw right before i finished this, but it's nowhere to be found at the corresponding spots from the last couple of days. It was the same with the second part but it eventually showed up, although according ti the history i only watched a quarter of it. Ill post more if it happens in the next few parts.

Ace Combat 4 and 5 had tutorial missions. AC 4 also had "trial missions" where you could practice technique on easy targets. This game really needed something like that instead of just text cues during the first few campaign missions.

I never get tired of hearing the Grizzly Hills theme. I have had numerous negative interactions with WoW, I've been mistreated by other players, and blizzards bad business practices. But that song. That song is what brings me back every now and again and just think UGH. its so beautiful. It reminds me personally of appalachia.

how long does it take for marco to realize that lightning reduces dinosaur's defense. The message keeps popping up on screen and I can't tell if he notices the messages. That's one of the few times I wish they would ALLOW 'backseat' gaming only because the message has already been shown and discovered and he's just missing it.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable talk, really love how he describes the music! On the topic of VG music moving people, i absolutely agree with you Marco. 90% of what i listen to now is purely OSTs, not necessarily VG OSTs though, but they are emotionally moving me almost all the time and i appreciate every detail because of my background in music. I value this genre more than the conventional music we are used to, it is the purest form of music imo, it needs to fit a context but without context it can hold its own or even better, it can explain the context through instrumentals alone. That is so special.
